Tier One Retirement Specialists was established to help retirees and families meet all of their financial goals by offering a holistic, comprehensive approach to planning to ensure a relaxing transition into retirement.

 

Prior to entering the financial services industry, Matt Hisey worked in the contract staffing and document management industries, working his way up to an area manager position for the Northeast Ohio area. In 2004, Matt decided to pursue his dream of starting his own business by combining his love of investing and finance. He learned the financial ropes with a large national finance company, and then transitioned to an independent, private practice.

 

Matt received his baccalaureate degree in Business Administration and Arts Management from Baldwin Wallace College. Matt has also earned membership to the MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table), an association of financial professionals that is recognized as the standard of excellence in the insurance/financial services industry.

 

Matt grew up in the Northeast Ohio area and currently resides in Medina, Ohio with his wife, Amy, and three children. In his spare time, Matt spends as much time as possible with his family and enjoys his hobbies including cooking, wine-making, music performance and a variety of outdoor activities.
